For some reason I do not only love to fly gliders - I also love to maintain and repair them. I hold the technical BWLV certificates for "Workshop supervisor for composite (Carbon and Fiberglas, including big repairs), "Glider mechanics" (incl. small repairs, fiberglass-, wooden and mixed material gliders) as well as engine maintenance. This is somehow similar to an A&P, but you can't sign off an annual and bigger repairs have to signed off by an inspector. In the past I did several overhauls as well as bigger and smaller repairs. For some years I also design and build an home build aircraft. The following links give you a flavor of this.
